Sandpaper is a must‑have for fibreglass work, used for preparing surfaces, shaping repairs, and finishing laminates. Wet & dry sandpaper is used for fine sanding, smoothing, and finishing, particularly where a high‑quality surface is required.  When used with water, it reduces dust and clogging while producing a smoother, more refined finish.

Quick Tips:

  • 320–400 grit – refining surfaces and removing sanding scratches
  • 600–800 grit – pre‑paint preparation and smoothing
  • 1000–2000 grit – fine finishing, polishing prep, and high‑gloss work
  • Work through grits gradually for best finish
  • Wet or dry sanding?
    • Wet sanding (this product): smoother finish with less dust and clogging
    • Dry sanding: best for removing material and surface prep

A few words on safety:

  • Use at least a P2 filter mask as sanding dust is harmful (even with wet sanding).  Eye protection and gloves are also recommended.
