Red tooling gelcoat for a better mould surface.  Finishes to a high gloss red that gives reliable pulls while being highly visible when you are making your part.

Features:

• Tooling gelcoat is specially formulated for mould-making
• Vinyl Ester based making a strong and hard-wearing surface for repeated pulls and a long lasting mould
• Higher temperature resistance than standard polyester gelcoat
• Compatible surface for pulling epoxy, vinyl ester or polyester parts

Quick Tips:

• Brush through gelcoat in multiple passes wet film thickness of 0.6-0.7mm.
• Use long brush strokes and even pressure to apply the gelcoat to make an even film
• Once gelcoat has cured and is tack-free, the skin coat can be applied.  This should be done as soon as practical after reaching tack-free and within 24 hours of application.
