PVA Release Agent – Green

PVA release agent forms a thin film between the mould surface and the laminate, preventing the resin from sticking as it cures.

It is a highly reliable mould release agent and is compatible with polyester, vinyl ester, epoxy, and urethane resin systems.

Features:

  • Sets to a smooth film that you can easily see
  • Styrene resistant – can be used with Polyester and Vinyl Ester
  • Solvent resistant – acetone will not remove the cured fil,
  • Water soluble – easily removed with water
  • Can be applied with a spray gun (approx. 90 psi) or with a brush using light, careful strokes

Quick Tips:

  • Apply mist coat to clean dry surface.
  • Allow to completely dry (10-15 minutes and touch dry)
  • Apply 2 further coats.  Allow each coat to completely dry (45 minutes).
  • Film with be smooth and glossy when dry and this means it is ready for use
  • Can be applied with a spray gun (90psi) or with a brush using careful light strokes.
  • Do not thin this product
