Duratec Sunshield is an ultra clear polyester topcoat that provides UV protection.  It can be applied in multiple passes to get to a thick coat of 18 wet mils (0.4mm).  Once cured it sets to a hard durable surface that is ready to be wet-sanded and buffed to a high gloss finish. This makes it excellent for use in moulds as well as a top coat for finished parts where UV resistance and shine matter.

Quick Tips:

• When used in mould Sunshield should be applied with spray gun
• When used to finish parts Sunshield can also be applied using a roller or brush
• When used over epoxy you will need to prepare the surface with a scrub and fresh water rinse
