Suitable for motorbike mufflers, marine exhausts, and performance silencers. Needlemat is heat-resistant and sound-absorbing.

• Can withstand temperatures up to 800C
• Excellent sound absorption for quieter exhaust
• Protects the muffler shell from heat damage

6mm or 25mm?

• 6 mm:
  • Pack size: 1m x 800mm x 6mm
  • Ideal for small or tapered mufflers
  • Can be layered to achieve 20–24 mm (our pack-size is made so that you can do this)
• 25 mm
  • Pack size: 1m x 400mm x 25mm
  • Out of the box ready to wrap most standard cores (no layering required)

Quick Tips:

• Wrap the perforated core evenly and secure with stainless wire ties.
• If layering 6mm Muffler Packing minimise seams and pack tightly (but do not over-compress)

• Wear gloves and a mask when handling fibreglass.  Needlemat is itchy for days after handling.
