CMP60 is a blended catalyst containing MEKP and CHP.   Of our controlled cure catalyst blends, CMP60 has the highest CHP content.  This produces the slowest gel-time, lowest exotherm and controlled cure profile in our range.  The result is an excellent final cure with reduced laminate stress, shrinkage and porosity.

Features:

  • Excellent final cure in both thin and thick laminates
  • Primarily used with Vinyl Ester and can also be used with Polyester
  • Particularly suited to thick laminates, filament winding and tank manufacture

Quick Tips:

  • Use at 1-2% by weight with cobalt accelerated resin
  • Always test cure behaviour before committing to production work
  • Best suited to warmer climates and larger laminates where heat build-up needs to be controlled
