400/225gsm Double Bias Mat is a structural reinforcement combining typical +45/-45 double bias with a 225 gsm chopped strand mat stitched on the back.  Double bias mat provides strength in multiple directions and improved adhesion with the CSM backing.

  • Double bias cloth with stitched chopped strand mat backing
  • Chopped strand backing improves bonding and resin flow
  • Compatible with epoxy, polyester and vinyl ester resin systems

  • Ideal for corners, joints and transitions where loads are multi-directional
  • A proper roller goes a long way with this product
  • DBM vs DB:
    • 400/225 gsm double bias mat is used where better adhesion and easier bonding to existing fibreglass is required.  The stitched chopped strand mat makes bonding easier.
