225gsm chopped strand mat is a lightweight reinforcement for repairs, boatbuilding and general laminating. It conforms easily around curves, filleted corners and complex shapes

• 225gsm weight allows precision build up and close contouring
• Emulsion bound for use with polyester and vinyl ester resins
• The 2m, 4m, 8m pack options have been matched for our 1kg, 2kg and 4kg Polyester resin packs
• 10m and 20m pack options are rolled on a core for easy dispensing in your workshop

Quick Tips:

• Resin to cloth ration for correct wet-out is approximately is 2:1 by weight
  • 450g of resin per square metre of 225gsm Chopped Strand Mat
  • Note: same formula for polyester and vinyl ester
• Emulsion-bound chopped strand mat is not suitable for epoxy resin systems.
