Our polyester breather cloth is essential in vacuum bagging processes—acting as both a breather (allowing even airflow and pressure distribution) and a bleeder (absorbing excess resin) during cure:

• Place between release film (peel‑ply or perforated film) and vacuum bag to maintain airflow
• Choose weight based on application:
  • lighter cloth for curves, heavier for flat or high-pressure cures
• Discard after use
  • once resin‑saturated, it’s no longer effective
• Can also place behind moulds to prevent vacuum bag puncture
• When debulking prepregs, breather is positioned on top of a perforated release film to help remove air from the laminate or when curing prepregs, breather is placed on top of unperforated release film over some or all of the laminate to maintain an airpath to the through-bag connector.
