These are the scissors we reach for when ordinary scissors stop cutting it. Designed for composite materials, the Sterling Black Panther scissors will cut through everything from light fibreglass cloth through to heavy stitched reinforcements, carbon fibre and Kevlar.

  • Cuts fibreglass, carbon fibre, Kevlar and hybrid composite fabrics
  • Large handles allow use while wearing workshop gloves
  • Suitable for both left-handed and right-handed users
  • Designed for cutting heavy reinforcements including double bias fabrics and woven rovings

Quick Tips:

  • Keep a dedicated pair for composite materials to maximise blade life.
  • For Kevlar fabrics, use long smooth cuts rather than repeated short snips.
  • Wipe blades clean regularly to remove resin, dust and fibre build-up.

Note: These scissors are designed for cutting composite fabrics and reinforcements. They are not intended for cutting cured fibreglass laminates.
