Carbon kevlar cloth is used in applications where the stiffness and strength of Carbon Fibre are needed alongside the toughness and abrasion resistance of Kevlar.

Features:

• Carbon fibre and aramid fibres woven together in a twill pattern
• Black and gold twill weave gives a distinctive finish that is also durable
• 1270mm wide

Quick Tips:

• Kevlar scissors work best on this cloth.
• Plan your cuts before laminating. Kevlar is difficult to trim and sand once cured.
• Compatible with both epoxy and polyester resins, although epoxy generally gives a better cured laminate.
• Hybrid cloth can be tricky to wet out.  Allow at least 300g of resin per square metre of cloth for wet out. More may be required depending on the laminate and application.
