Ultralight Chopped strand mat bonds layers together. 100gsm is used as a surface layer to improve finish and reduce print-through before heavier reinforcement is applied.

  • Powder bound – compatible with epoxy, polyester and vinyl ester
  • 100gsm CSM is a vey lightweight mat that is easy to wet out
  • Made with finer strands for improved surface contact
  • Helps reduce air bubbles and voids against gelcoat or mould surfaces

Quick Tips:

  • Dry cut CSM before mixing up your resin to avoid sticky gloves, wasted time and a messy lay-up
  • Use 1-2 layers over gelcoat or mould surface before building into heavier materials
  • Can be used as a final layer on a laminate to give a smoother finish

  • Glass fibres will irritate your skin and lungs.  Wear gloves, long sleeves and mask when handling and sanding
