Vacuum bagging film is used to fully enclose a part so that it can be consolidated and air removed using a vacuum pump. This film has high strength and elongation making it very suitable for infusion as well as general vacumn bagging.
–
Features:
75 micron is thicker and more durable under vacuum compared to the 50 micron film
High elongation to accommodate complex shapes and contours
Multilayered co-extruded vacuum bagging film with excellent resistance to polyester and epoxy resins
–
Technical Snapshot:
Thickness: 75 Micron
Colour: Yellow
Max Use Temp: 150C
Tensile strength: 40MPa
Elongation: 400%
Brand: LeadgoTech
–
Quick Tips:
Allow sufficient slack in the film to enable stretch under vacuum without bridging.
Avoid sharp edges or corners under the bag to reduce puncture risk.
Use sealant tape to seal edges of the film.
Check for leaks before starting an infusion process.
