Unidirectional carbon fibre is a structural reinforcement with almost all fibres running in a single direction. This allows strength and stiffness to be added exactly where it is needed without adding unnecessary weight. At 300gsm, this is a versatile general-purpose weight suitable for both new laminates and reinforcement work

  • 12K carbon fibre reinforcement for lightweight structural laminates
  • Fibres run predominantly in one direction for maximum strength and stiffness along the length of the fabric
  • Stitching holds fibres together, allowing the fabric to be handled, positioned and cut into strips
  • Compatible with epoxy, polyester and vinyl ester resin systems
  • Available in cut lengths or any custom length you choose

Quick Tips:

  • Align the fibres with the direction of the load to maximise strength and stiffness
  • Can be layered with double bias or woven fabrics to provide strength in multiple directions
  • Lay the rough side down and the smoother (shiny) side up
  • As a guide, approximately 500g of resin is required per lineal metre of fabric
