Our Kevlar cloth is a tough, high‑performance cloth that is abrasion resistant, very high strength, and top‑tier for impact performance.  Use it anywhere you need a light, strong reinforcement that is incredibly hard to tear or cut through.

• Exceptional toughness and impact resistance
• High heat resistance
• Very lightweight relative to its strength
• Excellent abrasion resistance
• Performs well as an inner strength layer
• Good choice for hybrid layups (Carbon/Kevlar, Glass/Kevlar)

• Kevlar doesn’t sand cleanly instead it “furs up”
  • Use a final layer of glass or carbon if you need a tidy sandable surface.
• Always cut with sharp Kevlar‑rated shears to avoid frayed edges
• Some notes on cloth weights:
  • 80gsm is suited to projects where weight matters
    • Surfboard fin box reinforcement, paddleboard rail protection, drone frames
  • 175gsm is suited to most marine and sport projects
    • Kayak hull reinforcement, jet ski chine protection, high stress areas of canoes, boat wear patches
  • 320gsm is suited for heavy duty impact protection and structural areas
    • Jet boat floors and impact panels, high-wear zones in hulls, impact layers on motorsport parts, keel reinforcement
