400gsm Double Bias is a structural reinforcement.  The +45/-45 angled fibre orientation provides excellent strength in multiple directions while the 400gsm weight still allows the fabric to conform around curves and complex shapes.

Features:

• Stitched construction gives better strength-to-weight performance than chopped strand mat
• Compared to chopped strand mat, Double Bias produces a stronger laminate for the same weight of glass
• Suitable for use with epoxy, polyester and vinyl ester resin systems
• Supplied rolled onto a cardboard tube to help keep the fabric straight and easy to handle

Quick Tips:

• Dry fit and cut the double bias to size before mixing up the resin
• Resin to cloth ration is typically 1.2:1 by weight:
  • 1 lineal metre of 1250mm wide, 400gsm cloth is 500g
  • Allow approximately 600-650g per lineal metre of cloth
• Can be laminated wet on wet typically up to 3 layers at a time
