Compared to lighter carbon fabrics, it builds thickness faster and is suited to structural laminates and load‑bearing components.

Use in combination with lighter cloths where a better surface finish or tighter radii are required
Heavier cloth builds strength more quickly, reducing the number of layers required
380gsm or lighter (200gsm or 245gsm)
- 380gsm is heavier and stiffer than 200–245 gsm cloth, making it better for structural work.
- Lighter weights are easier to shape and are typically used for cosmetic skins and detailed laminates.
