Exhaust Wrap (e-glass thermal tape) is designed for use in high temperatures. The most common use for thermal tape wrapping exhaust systems, to reduce under-bonnet temperatures and protect nearby components from radiant heat.   Exhaust wrap maintains hotter exhaust gases, increasing exhaust scavenging, decreasing gas density and exits exhaust gases faster from the header and exhaust system which increases horsepower and fuel economy.

• Withstands up to 650°C continuous heat exposure
• Can help reduce under the hood temperatures by up to 50%
• Easy to use, simply wet and apply
• Available in 25mm and 50mm tape width

Quick Tips:

• Soak the tape in water before installation to reduce loose fibres and improve flexibility
• Overlap each wrap evenly for a neat finish and consistent insulation
• The wrap may steam during the first heat cycle.  This is the water evaporating and the wrap tightening into place.
