Wax Solution is a blend of paraffin wax dispersed in styrene monomer. Added to polyester and vinylester resins, it helps form a wax barrier that blocks air during curing.  The result is a hard tack free finish.

Features:

  • 5% formulation for easy mixing without overdoing it
  • Forms an air barrier during curing
  • Works with polyester and vinylester resin systems

Quick Tips:

  • Shake wax solution before use and allow to settle
  • Add at ~2% by weight to polyester, gelcoat or vinyl ester and mix thoroughly (but not vigourously)
  • Add catalyst only after the wax solution has been mixed into the resin
