Infusion mesh allows the resin to move from the inlet side to the outlet side of the infusion smoothly. Extruded mesh is suited to flatter and less complex shapes.

Infusion mesh is added to your layup after the Peel Ply (if you are using this – which we recommend)
- Overlap mesh slightly at the joins
Extruded vs Knitted
- Extruded better for:
  - Flat panels, hulls
    - Gives fast, even flow and is easy to remove
  - Large simple parts
    - Cheaper than knitted and quick and easy to use
- Knitted better for:
  - Complex shapes and corners
    - Conforms well and so no bridging
  - Small intricate parts
    - Best fit and less risk of dry spots
